Being rescuers ourselves, we at the Uncommon Hound know how challenging it can be to work with homeless animals. We are really grateful for your hard work. To show our appreciation, The Uncommon Hound is offering a 20% discount to rescue organizations and shelters. The Rescuer Discount is specifically meant to help shelters and rescuers buy products for the adoptable pets that are in their shelter or rescue program. It is our way of helping to alleviate some of the financial stress that shelters and rescuers experience in the day to day care of homeless animals. You must have non-profit status to receive this discount. It is not meant for personal purchases.

If you are not purchasing for animals in the rescue or shelter, but are an adopter (of any animal from yours or another shelter or rescue) and are interested in making a personal purchase, you still qualify for an "Adopters Discount" of 10% off all orders all the time.

Signing up for the Shelter/Rescue Discount is easy -

On the "New Account Registration" page, select "Shelter Organization" from the drop down list when asked to "Please choose the type of account". Under "Additional Information for Adopters and Rescue Organizations" fill in the name and phone number* of the Rescue Organization or Shelter. Finally, fill in the Rescue Organization or Shelter's 501c3 tax ID number or EIN. If you do not yet have an EIN, please provide a web site or petfinder page for verification.

That's it! Your 20% discount will automatically be applied to every order you make.
